Sometimes people need reassurance before spending money on new bumpers for example... Maybe a little patience is needed by those who know everything, that might help new members feel confident that they can ask anything and won't be considered silly.
Some people respect what people on the forum say , and take it all on board. Consider that when effing with people's heads.

So? How does that harm anyone. Not everyone can use a Computer & or a Forum efficiently.

But when you tell them that it'll fit and they acknowledge what you've said, then that should be game over unless they want to clarify things in the same thread..... To then post another the exact same question in a new thread just doesn't make any sense at all and is insulting to anyone who offered their advice before.

While I'm excited at the prospect of time travel with my 500 perhaps that was not the nicest thing to do to someone whose first language is not English. Sometimes people like the measure twice and cut once, or measure a few dozen times and then a few more.

I read it, and I agree Alex's question was answered. Asking again isn't going to kill anyone though.
Creating a new thread causes clutter though, and as Maxi said basically insults the person who's already answered it as you're indirectly implying you don't believe them.

also thank you maxi for answering my questions sorry about the misunderstanding. i have a last question before i order the bumpers. The new ones have holes for fog lights but my model doesnt have fog lights what can i do about that?
Does the S come with fog lamps as standard or are they optional? If the latter then order the blanks, if standard then order fog surrounds and fogs and fit them in place for looks, could wire them in if you wanted to, but not a requirement in the UK.
