Hi all - first post so a big welcome to me!!
Ok so I'm posting about my daughters petrol Fiat 500 1.2 lounge 2013 with 3000 miles.
Since new the car has had this annoying noise when you press the clutch when the engine is at 2500 to 3000 rpm (Most noticeable in 1st gear). Its some sort of resonance from the clutch feeding back through the pedal. Its been into my local Fiat garage and they acknowledged the noise and their head tech said he would check some other 500s and see if they make the same noise - I thought a bit odd as if they all did it you would surely have noticed already! - and sure enough they come back a day later to say the old "they all do it guv!"
So I guess my question is: Do they in fact all have this noise?
Below is a link to a sound file taken inside the car, the first few seconds is the noise during a gear change, it sounds like the engine is reving during the shift but it isn't. The next bit is me repeatedly pressing the clutch pedal an inch or two and this produces the same noise followed by one last gearchange.
Any comments much appreciated.
