Hi we just got my daughter a mark 4 panda (early 21st pressie)and noticed in its menu there is an option for dimming the dash lights.I have had this function on a couple of cars and used it.having had a quick look in the 500s menu I don't see this option and was wondering that maybe I just haven't found it or its just not there hoping maybe some one else has found it or not

I believe the dash lights dim automatically via a sensor in the dash?

Yep I'm pretty sure the dashboard lights dim automatically, else they would be way too bright at night?

You want to get out more....

I was out. Perhaps I need to stay in more?

Before I get carried off. The current Fiesta outside temp warning, (snowflake) shows yellow at 4 degrees, but when the temp drops to zero or below, it changes to red. On foggy winter mornings, when the temp is changing between zero and one degree, the light will keep changing colour. Best and only fun feature on the car. (Yes, perhaps I need help)

I have just discovered while waiting outside the chippy that you can dim the dash lights.when you press the menu button and scroll through there is no option for dimming the dash lights but turn on your lights and scroll through again and there is an option .makes sitting around waiting worth while sometimes :)

Call me old fashioned, but it's all in the hand book
The first thing i do when i get a new car is read through the hand book.
Half the questions on this fiat forum are related to things that are in the hand book you get with your car.
Rant over

I have no hand book to read so I asked the question and was told earlier in this thread that the 500 did not have this feature so I was just excited about finding it.having said that if I had a handbook I probably wouldn't have read it anyway:eek:

Just to add oddly the option to dim interior lights is only available with your lights turned on but it also it has to be dark enough for your dash lights to come on
