Just traded in my 1.2 lounge for a 500S twinair.
What a improvement over the 1.2!
Dualogic, paddles etc.
My other TA is a 1953 Citroen Traction Avant in original condition with only 18,000 miles on the clock. Sat in a museum for 20 years and then arrived back in this country with 356 miles travelled.
One black with red interior the other is red with black interior.

Nice Citroen :) Proper car that! :)

One of the greatest cars of all time. And a fantastic example. I noticed a run of them driving through Norwich earlier in the year.

My father had one, and then a DS 23, and then my mother had a couple of GSs, and finally two Dyanes. All great cars with brilliant engineering - oh for the centrifugal clutches on those Dyanes.... Then Citroen was absorbed into Peugeot and died.

Fiat is the only make that still has a semblance of original integrity, as far as I am concerned.

Arthur Daley, can i ask a silly question, are you on autosh ite? There's an Arthur Daley on there, though not a Citroen lover as far as I'm aware

Made in Slough?

Yup, made in Slough.
For those who don't know, Front wheel drive, torsion bar suspension, rack and pinion steering monocoque construction. Introduced in 1934 way way ahead of its time.
A delight to drive.

Those that don't know, aren't car enthusiasts......

I usually get " didn't the Gestapo drive these?"

my reply "No, they had the foreign built ones with the steering wheel on the wrong side"

Then they say "Oh look it's right hand drive"

Sound of Penny dropping. . . . . . .
