As the 500 approaches its anniversary in July does anyone have ideas as to whether any revisions are on the horizon?

The small updates made around the time of the Colour Therapy / S (x3 reversing sensors instead of 4, new smaller aerial and the new leather seats) were pretty minor. So does anyone think there'll be any further revisions this year for the 2014 MY?

I don't have any inside information, but I would guess no big changes, for four reasons.

First, the obvious change would be to take on some of the different elements in the US model. However, this has already been done with the 500S (to a certain extent).

Second, the 500 seems still to be selling strongly. There may accordingly be little reason to spend millions to make some minor revisions.

Third, Fiat seems to be refreshing the 500 along fashion industry lines, ie "new season's colours" in their colour therapy advertising. This is obviously a much cheaper way for them to renew interest and make people want the latest thing.

Fourth, and tying into the second and third points, is that I suspect Fiat is not exactly flush with cash and probably would rather spend it on other things that might generate more sales rather than some cosmetic changes to what is their most biggest seller.

It's a shame really. I'd like to see some Panda and L elements make their way into 500, namely heated seats, heated windscreen and the City Brake Control option.
