Hi & welcome to the forum .

The right car is worth travelling a few miles for. If you see any in the Beds/Herts/Bucks area, I'd be happy to give them a once over & report back to save you a potentially wasted journey.

Alternatively, wait until Robin is ready to trade his in & buy that :).

Thanks yeah your right the perfect car is worth travelling for. As for your offer of checking one out if needed I will keep that in mind.

And even though I am in St Albans now, I grew up near Cheltenham and went to school there. My mum still lives there (well, Northleach now).

I presume we're talking about a Dualogic 500. Based on my experience of what happened when I tried to sell mine, may I humbly suggest taking one (perhaps a new one at a dealer) for a test drive, if you haven't already

I like Dualogic very much and would choose it again over a manual, but several people looking for 'an automatic' were horrified by my car and their difficulty driving it made them decide not to buy. It really suits someone who has previously driven/is able to drive a manual, but wants something more convenient that can't be stalled.
