I can get mine at the weekend, that's only because I bought the show room model. I was surprised I was allowed considering they need to display it. But I can't complain it's a beautiful little car.
Been to the dealer today... My salesman has left quite abruptly! The order has been in nearly two weeks now and is on stage 10 :-( time is going by too slowly! A colleague had purchased a brand new lounge in pink and hers has arrived in 6 weeks! Lucky mare...

A dealer has posted to advise that there may be a delay to 500S models because of issues with the supply of the brushed chrome bits that are specific to the S model. Typical just when a car's in demand!
My 500C Lounge took 10(ten) weeks to arrive, hang on in there, the wait is worth it.
So I went to the dealer yesterday for an update... My car still hasn't been built and now has a delivery estimation of mid July!!! 14 weeks from point of order... How do I stand with getting some sort of compensation? Really quite annoyed because I've only arranged to have a car until the end of June (the 12 weeks I was originally told). Are they obliged to give me a courtesy car?

No. Legally you have no claim at all. And I very much doubt the dealer will be inclined to offer you a courtesy car. But if you have special circumstances and ask very nicely the worst thing that can happen is that they say no.

:thumbdown: sorry to hear about your delayed delivery.... It was pretty much 12 weeks for ours.... Feb 14th ordered.... May 13 delivered.. Everything about the Stage 10 , stage 30 etc etc seemed to take ages.. The worst one, knowing tge car had arrived in UK amd taking near two weeks to get delivered to Dealer :-o
Our dealer knew we had gone from two cars to one car whilst waiting, but no courtesy car.. We got a 30% voucher for first service.

Yeah its always a problem. I just dealt with it and took the train or borrowed my parents cars when I could for longer! They said 2 months for me but it took more like 3! But you have the satisfaction of something that is actually brand new, not a car that has been sitting in the dealer for months doing nothing with likely a battery that has been affected.
I ordered a 500c TA lounge in BN white with a red roof and red interior with ivory ambience 2 weeks ago. The dealer told me it would likely take around 6 weeks. This week it is half built so still on track for early July. Very excited. Finding it hard to be patient.

The dealer is 100% correct.
That's a shame :-( I have a friend who works for Mazda and they can have to delivery prioritised :-/
Update... 13 weeks after ordering I'm still without my car :-( However! It's at status 50 and due this week! Have picked up a courtesy car this morning as I complained it was taking too long... All in all can't really grumble as they've also put half a tank of fuel in and don't require me to refill it! roll on next week!
