Tuning Magneti Marelli Upgrade Power Module for Twinair

The price dose sound high, but by buying this unit it can be removed at any time. And with the remote i can select mapps so can drive it with map set at standard.
And it will fit a abarth if ever i upgrade (y)

Once i get it i will do a review. and a fitting tutorial.

Not unless Abarth do a TA version. The part no's are different. The power pedal is interchangable, not the Tuning Module.

You think that the tuning box for a two cylinder multiair equipped engine will the the same as a 4 cylinder engine without multiair? Erm no.

I think the tuning box is the same. May need a different fitting loom kit and the box map changed.

Yeah, but who would re-map it? Would wind up a lot cheaper to sell it and buy the proper one in any case.

hi there. i want to reply on that because i know that ECUs too.
called ME111T for Twinair Turbo, ME110T for Abarth and so on and ME100 for turbodiesel.

there is also me200t for throttlepaddle, which is really really really awesome :)
i like that stuff, we built in in our Alfa Mito TCT. clutch is releasing like hell and car runs like freaky tiger.

magneti really knew what they did.
and as far as i know they were looking for new markets (our German dealer italo-welt told me that, they are officially MM-partner and sell those ECUs too). perhaps we can get specialprices for board-members?

as far as i can tell you those ECUs are the best things you can get. :slayer:

He is correct. The module itself is the same just with different programs. If he gets an Abarth he can plug the module in to a computer via USB, reset it and load the appropiate Abarth map from MM's database. No need to get a new module! You can download the software from me100t.com

The MM module naming is a bit strange. When I received my module (for my previous 500), there were two labels on the cardboard packaging. The original label said "ME110T", but the one on top said "ME111T". I thought maybe MM used an old packaging for this new module, but the label on the module itself also said "ME110T", and so did the Elaborazioni software.

I was intending to get the MM module ages ago but never got round to it. I'm really tempted to get it now!
Do you have to remove the battery or ecu to plug it in to the ecu?

No, you don't have to remove the battery or the ecu. You don't have to plug anything into the ecu either. You only have to make the connections at the two sensors (as shown in the video in the "Twinair 105 remap" topic).

Thanks for clarification. That's super easy to do then. I wonder how it lets the ecu know the new 'map'?

The MM module is connected between these sensors and the ecu. Basically the module manipulates the sensor values and provides these manipulated values to the ecu.

Questions are welcome.
I have a question for DaMoeKri or anyone else who has used the Elaborazioni software for programming MM modules:

Do you get the "STEP 1" and "STEP 2 PRO" buttons left of the "SW 1" and "SW 2" buttons in the Elaborazioni software? These buttons should give you the possibility to adjust the "maps" created by MM. (I know that doing this is very dangerous, but I'm just curious.) Whenever I use the Elaborazioni software, these buttons are not visible.

Below a link to a manual that describes these buttons:
