Hello.

I updated the software on my 500 using a download from the blue me website.

The first upload i did (5.5) worked fine, no problem, so i thought as i was there and it was so easy i would update it again so it was completely up to date (5.6).

however i wish i hadn't.

everything was going fine it seemed and it said it was complete and to remove the device, but once i did, loads of error messages came up saying EPS error, airbag was not working the fuel was not working the power steering etc. The engine will not turn over and the radio will not turn on.

can anyone help me fix this

It'll be unrelated. Disconnect the battery, leave it for a bit and go from there.
