how do you mean the release button is broken? If the PCB is broken then changing cases won't do anything to solve your issue.

Something is stopping the Fiat button from going down. Therefore the key wont swivel. You probably already knew that.....

If you 1/2 turn the little screw to release the battery compartment, it may give you a better visual on the area.

I don't know if the whole fob breaks open or is held together by screws, but if you can separate the halves, you will possibly be able to free off the button.

Taking the key apart is one of those jobs that you don't really need a guide. Just take it apart, there is a screw on the back and it unclips. If you need a guide I would suggest it's not the job for you.

what RUI said. If you take it apart then you need to do the reverse to reassemble, simple as that.

remove the key from the key ring

unclip the front trim then the back

then remove the battery door / battery

unclip the 2 halfs

catch the spring as it flies across the living room....

chances are the mechanism is packed up with fluff from your pocket clean the dimples on the key blade

I should imagine the key is in two halves - the Fiat push button side is one half, the plain side is the other half.

The fob should split length ways. It may need a small amount of persuading.

There is a spring that makes your key pop up when you press the Fiat button. I imagine that is what you must watch out for.

I have never done this job, but Maxi or Andy will jump in and correct me if I have misunderstood their instructions.

Don't hold your breath, Konza. They may not reply if they have nothing new to add.

Try what has been suggested so far. One step at a time. Then come back if you are stuck at any stage.

Good luck!

I don't understand why someone should go to the trouble of making a video to help someone who is so completely unwilling to try and do something this simple themselves. I never had a guide when I did mine and it worked out fine for me.....

Here's one I made earlier.......

Big brownie points for Andy Mod.

At a guess i would assume the OP is using google translate or English isn't his first language due to his location and the Greek flag ;)
