More action. Kelly/Laura is such a kind soul - happy to pay to send her car to me. Well, at least I can offer to pay her in person in cash. I mean, she won't want to send her car and not get paid, will she?

So this is her billet doux:

Hello again,

I have received your delivery location and i will search today for a reliable and affordable shipping company and choose the best offer for us.

I will contact you as soon as possible to give you all the necessary information.

For the expenses of the agency do not worry, I'll pay for these services.

I wait for your response!

Kelly Wilson

And my reply - it's a good job I have got my lovely wife Maxi to help me out on this one....

Hi Kelly

Thank you for all your hard work on this! My wife Maxi asked me if you will be coming over to London at the same time as the car is sent, so I can pay you? I'm sure you are not going to want to let me have the keys to your gorgeous little car without me having first paid for it (even if you have been put off it by the terrible thing that your husband did). I can arrange to have cash for you when you are here.

Speak soon.

Robin

I feel like a big fish who is being offered a tasty looking worm (on a hook). Delicious!

Thanks. I occasionally get involved with people like this for my job. I just can't help playing them at their own game, it's such fun.

One of them was a guy called John Pennell (Google him) who changed his name by deed poll to Sir Jonathan Penn. He had done time in Wormwood Scrubs. I had a lot of fun pursuing him for a client who he owed a fair bit of money to, and I cuaght him out on a few things not dissimilar to this. He got rather cross and promised to have someone break my legs.

Kelly/Laura must have had a jolly busy day because she STILL hasn't got back to me from this morning and I am getting bored. So I just sent her this. I have 30 mins before I have to log off and head out so hopefully she will reply quickly.
Hi Kelly

I'm sorry for bothering you but I was wondering how you got on today with finding a company to deliver the car (and also what your answer was about you coming over to collect payment)?

I'm really keen not to lose out on this car. My son Ahmett (who is a very smart fellow who knows much more than me and my wife Maxi when it comes to buying cars) said that there are bound to be other people interested in it, so I should hurry up and make sure we agree a deal quickly. Ahmett lives in Greece so I don't get to speak to him very often unfortunately.

Anyway, looking forward to hear back from you soon.

Regards,

Robin
