I guess that there is enough money in them for it to be worth their while to set up loads of websites - and also pretty cheap and easy too.

Hi Robin , loved the scam of the scammer , I too replied to an advert for a Motor Home and also had a reply from Kelly Wilson , the name then changed to Christine Tremayne .She had this motor home from her x husband . Also got Emails from the so called shipping agent exactly the same agent you had a reply from lol . I also told them that I only dealt in cash and the last mail I had was as follows ! And my answer to them and surprise surprise have not heard back from them !

Hi , yes I would like to come to your office , I will be in Ireland on Tues 23rd of this month for 6 days , if you give me your address I will come and pay in cash and collect the Van , if that is ok

Silly me - Kelly needs more info. She sent me this. I am trying not to be hurt that she is being a lot less friendly these days.

Well it is rude not to comply when a lady asked you to fill her up, so I replied thus:

The sharp witted amongst you will recognise the phone number. Suffice it to say that it is not mine.

The suspense is killing me! I hope I live long enough to see the safe delivery of your lovely Fiat Robin!:spin:

I'd be careful not to **** these people off, Have you not seen Taken 2?

I found this this morning after seeing a bargain panda cross for £4k

They also have a 2008 bravo dynamique multijet 50k miles for £2900
And a 2010 Vw polo with 15k at £3000

I notice nearly all pics of cars say at the bottom "do not call, email blah blah @hotmail" with every email address different.

Either the car dealer has had his web site hacked, or it's just a complete fake web site???

Anyone live in/near Preston and know this place?

Edit:

That web site I linked to has just had their stock list cut from about 25 cars to 4.
Scammers found out!

I've just seen Sir Jonathon Penn who featured earlier in this post on "Can't pay. We'll take it away" on the telly. High Court Enforcement Officers went to his home in Herons Place Isleworth which featured in the press a couple of years ago when his Jag was arsoned on his driveway. Look it up, Series 4, Episode 13.

Now reduced to driving a Smart car which they took away from him to pay some of what he owed. Later he paid the balance he owed presumably after he scammed another poor sod . He scammed Mum on one of his courses, after trying to get her into bed. She wasn't having that. None of the authorities seem to be bothered to about individuals he's scammed.

Nasty piece of work.

I've just spent an hour reading through this chuckling away. I know it's 5 year old thread but unfortunately many people do fall for this. I once saw an Abarth advertised for silly money on eBay. Did a bit if digging and found the real dealer who had the same car for sale for £3k more. I got the listing taken down but there are a lot of people out there who've lost a lot of money. Great bit of entertainment for us though.
