Just ordered our new car due for delivery around the 12 November but having second thoughts on the colour. We have ordered volare blue but wife now liking the new age cream but not having seen the colour in the flesh it's difficult. Can't wait for it to arrive but shall we change the colour?

up to you I'm not going to.be driving it.

Volare blue is lovely but increasingly common on our roads, be a trail blazer and get the New Age Cream (with chocolate seats and ivory ambience of course} and you'll be a pretty much unique!

Well thanks guys it's a tough decision do we be brave and go cream or play it safe and go blue? The reason why I'm saying blue is the contrast of the dash blue on cream is a eye opener, but the new age cream on cream I feel would be lost. I love the contrast I feel it's part of the charm of the car!

New age cream! The blue is ugly. It would be funny if you did a forum survey and see which one is preferred.

I think you should stick with your first instinct and stay with the blue. It's like completing a multi choice exam - they always say don't go back as your first choice is properly right

But it's not easy as it is a big decision! Good luck and I'm sure you will be happy with your end result as all the 500's are just so darn love-able.

The blue is a lovely colour, both me and Mrs Notts like it, and I think that colour with an ivory roof looks great on a 500c. Suits the character of the car. And no one is entirely sure what the colours look like until they see them on a car, Fiat haven't done very will with colour repro in advertising lately! That purple that's almost black is a case in point.

as I said, why does it matter what we think? It's not our car.

But those of us who are not mechanically minded or interested in winter tyres need something to talk about.

I have gone with the Volare Blue.. and, as you have, have also toy'd with the idea of New Age Cream (and had originally ordered in Pasadoble Red..!!!). The only reason I went with the Blue in the end is because I have seen it in the flesh, and haven't seen the cream.
I am sure that the cream is going to be a lovely colour, especially with the Chocolate interior, so if you do change your mind I dont think you will be dissapointed.
Its a very hard decision, and I completely understand you asking for other people's opinions. They are right - it is you that is going to drive it so it is entirely up to you - but for some reason other people's thoughts somehow help.!

Order a 2nd in the Cream then you'll be well suited.

My vote would go for the Volare Blue. I wouldn't let the ambiance affect your choice. Personally I would go for whaever colour your OH prefers.

We've decided that we are sticking with the blue with ivory and chocolate interior split rears and multi spoke alloys. Cheers guys will be around on the forums posting random crap lol

I'm biased as I love my volare, but I think that if I was choosing now I'd plump for the new cream colour. I've liked it since I saw it on the American 500s

Joking aside, I have seen a few Volare Blue in my 'neck of the woods' and must admit they do look good
