Fiat tweeted this last night... has everyone seen it?
Really can't wait to get my New Age Cream 500 now :D

Yes, and I have to say I am a little jealous of your colour choice now...Exactly what I expected it to be like..
But my Volare looks good too.....!!!

New Age Cream and Volare Blue are the best colours in my opinion ;)

Why did the ad show white alloys on the colour therapy? Am I missing something?

You're right - and they don't seem to be available on the configurator either.! I suspect they are available in other countries and they haven't modified the advert for UK.

It was abit "blink and you'll miss it" cheapo FIAT keeping the add short!

It's a bit cheeky showing wheels which are not available IMO though no worse than print adds which often show a high specification car when it's referring to a base model price.

The white painted 'vintage' wheel trims shown on the configurator for the colour therapy models look quite snazzy and I wouldn't mind a set!

I think the colours under all that brilliant sunshine will look different under a gloomy GB sky:(

Don't often watch commercial channels so it was just by chance I saw the ad on the big (well 42") screen:)

My local dealer has a colour therapy 500 in stock, gave it a look over today. It was countrypolitan yellow, which to me looked more orange than yellow. Didnt really like the white mirrors or the bee sting white aerial (which had oily finger prints on it already). The pool ball gear knob looked ok. Wheel trims looked best of all the 'extras'.
I really disliked the stock steering wheel, looked and felt cheap compared to the blue&me version.
Pity it wasn't the new age cream/ chocolate interior as that I think really says retro to me!

I'll stick with my BNW pop for now! :)

Didn't think you could get the chocolate seats in the colour therapy version only the lounge one? Or is that what you meant??

Chocolate seats/ivory ambience are shown as the default interior for the new age cream colour therapy car on the configurator!

It wouldn't let me select them with other colours though - which is odd as I recall volare blue and choc being ordered! Must have been on a lounge!?

Yes, that's me, I've ordered Volare / chocolate, but as you said it's on the Lounge not the Colour Therapy.

Know what you mean there! :)
'My' (Avis hire car) Bossa Nova White 1.2 Lounge did look cream most of the time, but the glass roof and white interior certainly gave it a real lift which I don't get in my Sport.

I still expect a new car to have metallic or ideally pearlescent paint

I'm hoping this '70's colours with white detailing' is all a bit of a fad anyway. I'm going to stick with my '90's colour and grey detailing'. :D

In the summer it'll be good not to have the glass roof and now I've got the air conditioning fixed, I'm ready...

I test drove a lounge with the glass roof then the pop without (which I eventually bought) and found the interior too hot with the glass roof, especially as the 'shade' is mesh and doesn't cut out the sun. I spent a minute trying to find the button to open the roof! I agree that it makes the cabin airy though.

Personally I like opening sunroofs (very 70's) but not glass none opening roofs (what's the point?) and would spec the FIAT sunroof (even at $580!) if buying new, mainly as I like the natural ventilation of a slightly open roof.

BTW Alex why do people find your 'lack' of mirrors odd? Shows a lack of narcasism if you ask me!:p
