Hi, just got a new Fiat 500 pop colour therapy dualogic. There doesn't seem to be any hill start assist, it just rolls back on a hill start if you don't use the hand brake. Checked in the menu system and there's no option to activate hill start.
Does anyone know if the new Fiat 500 dualogic comes with hill start assist and if so how you activate it

That is correct

As Maxi has said, hill hold isn't configurable in the menu, you either have it and it functions or you do not, in your case it's the latter so you'll have to use the handbrake :yuck:

I do - sorry to hear that you have to make do without a left foot?

With my Dualogic 500, I found the hill holder was only very occasional. It was best to assume it wasn't there.

Agreed, I treat it the same in my dualogic Bravo.

I have a left foot, it's the dualogic I don't have.
But you were having a laugh weren't you?

I feel that when you press the brake really hard while stopped it activates more = )

I don't think the slewing sensor is that sensitive, or the software isn't great at determining a hill. I suspect it's probably tuned for when the car is moving which is obviously when ESP is needed.

I did see a service notice for fixing a bug though, where hill hold won't come back on again after a start/stop engine has stopped and then restarted, unless a key off/key on is done.
