We've got some of these chunky droplinks for our Subaru. Much better than the plastic ones they replaced :)

Good luck finding some for the 500. I've looked high and low. The only option is custom. And as soon as my new standard droplinks arrive next week, I'll be using them to find some dimensions for making my own rose jointed droplinks. I have to, a mate said "don't be a *****, make your own rose jointed ones" :)

Well, part of me is tempted to pop whiteline an email as they do rosejointed droplinks for other cars.

Way ahead of you. Tried that 2 years ago when I had mine done. Nope and not interested was the response. Apparently not enough of a market for them. The situation may have changed in 2 years but they were pretty clear about not caring when I spoke to them. Same for a number of other people. My response is to make my own. I'll post some pics up when complete.

Now that they've got some bushes out there they might be more interested.

I have some wear in mine according to last MOT, anyone know how easy these are to change????
Thanks

mine are no longer borked at all. I have new strut top mounts and rear dampers :)

So - quick check (nearly three years later, sorry ), after your top mounts were replaced, was there no gap between the rubber washer and the turret top?

My 500 seems to have marks on the turret top showing that there has been contact, but there is now a couple of centimetres clearance as there was in your earlier pictures.

More concerningly, the steering tends to alternate between good alignment and bad alignment (as in, sometimes runs straight and sometimes pulls to one side). I think this might be a sign of needing new top mounts.

Sorry to reprise an old thread but it is very relevant to what I have seen today on my wife's 2009 1.2 sport.

I will try to attach a video of the movement in the shock mounts when being lowered down from the jack to the wheels taking load.

The movement is about 1.5 cm.

I am already planning to change the front shocks as the previous owners last two MOT reports had oil misting as advisories.

Planning to do shocks, drop links, maybe LCA as the rubber bushes show signs of de-lamination from the metal ring and now top mounts . The top cups look pretty rusty. Does anyone know if Lemforder top mounts come with the cups like the Febi bilsteins do - or is this separate purchase?
