Hi,
I've recently purchased a white Fiat 500, with the cream/ivory interior. But, I'm looking to add my own touch to it.

I've been looking around, and as I'm a girly sort of girl, been drawn in by the pink stuff. I.e. Pink strip down side of the car, pink alloys...nothing pink inside to be honest...but just wondering what people's views are of the things I've mentioned? Tacky? Or, nice? Lol.

Hope this makes sense :)

Pink and white makes a great combo, but the temptation to go OTT will be great so keep it simple - a pink stripe should be fine, but IMO pink wheels would be way too much, however black wheels with maybe a pink rim or pink spokes (depending on the design) might look good.

Sounds good :) understand the OTT thing on the pink alloys lol. Was unsure over white and pink, or black and pink. But thanks :)

I think the eyelashes make the 500 instantly girly. A pink pair would therefore probably be more than enough.
Or the stripe.
But I should imagine that here would be a case of less is more!

Do post pix when you have pinked up your 500!

If you wanted to go subtle but pink, it's all about the interior. I'd talk to an upholsterer. I'm thinking seats, wheel and gear knob stitching only in pink. Perhaps the roof lined as well but it might be a bit much.

If you're set on the outside only, something like the tri colour flag stripe that runs from bonnet to boot over the roof, only in a matte finish pink. Unique without being hideous.

Hi Kirstiiie - Whilst saving up for Ruby I once went around H******s with a basket and filled it up - with all the pink Hello Kitty car stuff: dice, mats, steering wheel cover, air-fresheners, notepad holders, cups, sunshade organiser, etc etc, kidding hubby on that I was goint to buy & fit the lot.

So I know they do a whole range of that and also other pink/black/bling items. Head there if you've not already seen it all.

I'm not into pink but do understand how great it is to find things in your favourite colour. If I had to do pink though - Barbie it wouldn't be (but you can still get the themed official Fiat Barbie accessory set if you look out for it).

Ever considered going retro with a oh-so-:cool:Pink Panther theme tho'?

Since you have a '60 plate 1.2 Pop would you consider selling it and getting a PINK special edition 500.:)
Prices start from £9K (there's 12 up there on xxxx all 1.2 models with the U spoke alloys). Since the PINK model appears to be a Lounge model it will have air con, Blue & me, chrome pack, split rear seats, etc. B&Me is very sought after. Stop start might be handy & if you can get the opening sunroof that would be nice.
There have been a number on the FF on & off & I remember one woman looking to get 2 - one for herself and for her daughter. It will always sell.
I reckon the colour & the spec will suit you to a tee and will look more authentic that trying to add stripes etc.
If you stick with your current model the eye lashes as suggested by snes sounds like a good idea.(y)

P.S. There appears to be no white ambiance so you would have to put up with black ambiance.:)

Thanks for all the replies. Think I'm going to go for the pink stripe...preferably matt finish, and white alloys, maybe with a touch of pink :). I have looked at the pink 500's but the inside would need to be ivory/white, so no joy there, and plus, only bought the car a week ago :). Will have to put a photo up once I've done what I want! Lol.

Thanks :D

i'd go for a matt pink and matt grey stripe to add a bit of contrast, you can echo that on the dash board and do a wing mirror in each, like white alloys but high maintenance on the cleaning front

just looking at a blue/grey stripe design for mine as its my company colours

One other thing I thought of is, if you have the side rubbing stripe you could get one of the badges that fit in (any really - whatever is cheapest on ebay) and have it painted pink as a custom insert, that would look subtle.
