I Use a mountain bike track pump by the time you have jack and dannyed about unwraveling the cable plugged it in started the car passed it across the passenger seat and out the door,,,,, You can check and top up 4 tyres and it keeps you warm :D

I have been using a footpump for a long long time, I did think it would be giving in to get a 12v pump, but if Maxi and Rui have one (or 2) and are younger than me, so screw it (rather pump it) so will I (y)
 
i swear by the little 12v cheap pumps you get
Okay they prefer either a really good battery or the engine running to speed up the process

I click on - Let it fill up a tyre with air over the required psi as the guage is knackered
Check oil
come back - check with digital guage and adjust usually down :)

Takes 10mins, and i save 20p each time by not going to tesco and letting the tyres down more.....
