Sorry in advance about the silly question. I have read on here many references to Eco mode. I presume it isn't the same as Eco drive but can't find particular reference to it in my manual.

Think you'll find it is, maybe a different Eco button but there is one on Dualogics ;)

Yup. From p.4 of the dualogic supplement manual (https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=52):

The gearbox can work in two operating
modes:
❒
the first is manual (MANUAL),
where the driver decides directly
when to shift gear;

❒
the second fully automatic (AUTO),
where the system decides when to
shift gear. On 1.2 versions the
ECO

function (Economy) can be used with
this mode reducing fuel consumption.
To turn this function on, press button
E-fig. 3 located on the gearbox trim.

The TwinAir Dualogic is different and doesn't have the Eco button down by the gearlever.
All TA's share the same Eco switch on the main dashboard, regardless of transmission type.

Do some older models have a "city" button at this location?

The 1.2 has the "city" button which makes the steering insanely light. Or "lovely" as my wife calls it.

The 1.4 has the "sport" button in its place.

No idea what the diesel has?
