Auto Italia magazine are looking for a 1.4-litre Fiat 500 to shoot at Bruntingthorpe on Tuesday 27th September. The shoot will take around 3 hours and is for a big 500 feature. If you would like to take part please PM me ASAP with details of your car. Many thanks,

Damn. I'm in Hawaii otherwise I'd be there in a shot with my 1.4 lounge.

Could have been a car jacker or anything. people should take extra precautions before meeting random people from the net.

It's one of the reasons we like auto-italia coming to admin first.

Where as I am the 1st to agree this is dodgy as hell, arrange to carjack a 1.4L 500...seriously?

I love my 1.4 Sport 500, but there are much better and more valuable cars to try this jack on.

If this a jacking attemp, could be worth volunteering just to meet the dimwit that tried it and have the local constabulary (or my trusty 2x4) on standby.

In answer to the OP I will say this "yeah, nice try buddy"...lol
 
This isnt a jacking attempt. the guys been investiated by the FF detective and is a freelance photographer.

but it is not outwith the realms of possability someone might need a 1.4 500 for some reason and feel they can do what they want to to get it. lets not forget we have had 500s stripped whilst parked up on the street overnight.

If someone is willing to do that, whats to stop them trying to get the car to come to them.

That sounds like my kind of crime. I couldn't be arsed going out and stealing a car to strip it. But having the driver bring it to me and hand the keys over sounds a good deal :p

Obviously if he'd then PM'd me to say bring the car along to a 3am back alley shoot in Hackney I'd have exercised a little caution. Give people some credit for common sense.
