Hello everyone...

I have a couple of questions for you Fiat oracles!! :)

I have had my Fiat 500 Lounge for 3 years, I want to sell it but ufortunately the rear left light is smashed and the boot has a small dent that needs touching up!! ( Someone did this in a carpark and drove off!! I'd had the car 2 weeks!! All Im saying is KARMA!!!)

So....

1. where can I buy a replacement rear left light?
2. Can I buy touch up paint in white anywhere?
3. How much should I be selling my baby for, it will be a sad farewell!!! :)

She only had 20,000 miles on the clock...very clean and driven like the princess she is!!!

any advise of help would be really appreaciated, thank you x

1. Fiat tend to sell lights for their cars. Ebay is also a good bet as is shop4parts
2. Again, Fiat tend to be quite helpful in regards to touch up paint for their cars.

As for the price, well it all depends on condition, service history, specification, colour, options and so on.

Hey thanks for the advice, I have looked online they are around £50 for new lights.

It has full Fiat garage service history, white...white leather stearing wheel, chrome features alloys blah blah, blue tooth and voice activation media inside, its pretty slick :) Was hoping for 7k as such low mileage do you think that is realistic for a 3 year old one?

Going to contact Fiat for the paint!!! Thanks again!!! :)

Check out prices on autotrader and filter to your car to get a rough idea about what it could be worth if you sell it privately - you'll generally get a lower price from a dealer or garage though. :)

I recently agreed to part exchange my 500 crossover black lounge. I knew the range I wanted and let the dealer know. On a 08 registration with 18500 miles on the clock, just 18000 mile serviced and Mot'd, with quite a lot of city damage, rear right wheel arch scraped from the garage door, both sides of teh front bumber scraped and scrapes on the back bumber, they offered £5650 which seemed very fair to me. Whatever repairing the damage would have cost, it didnt seem worth the time, cost, or effort. I think it would have been pretty marginal.

Which leads me to the exiting bit of having discovered that mine is at status forty - and predicted to be with the dealership on Friday. Probably me a pick up a week tomorrow.

For ammusement I got the sales invoice out yesterday just to check it. Total price of Car £13,570. Less Part Exchange £5650. Sub Total £8100. Less Deposit £500. Balance due from Customer £7600.

Me thinks I might just got the dealer to check those figures before handing over the card :)

Try here for the light and paint stick

and in respect of car price I can only suggest you try and look on various sites to gauge what prices similar specification cars are fetching. You can always go on the webuyanycar.com site to get an idea of the lowest price and aim north of that.
