I am on the brink of purchasing a TwinAir for my wife. We have driven the TwinAir and 1.2 and the TwinAir wins hands down for us as it has some real character.

The only real question is the price. I have an offer on the TwinAir Pop on the i-deal of 1.8% APR and list price on the car.

Just wondering what sort of price I should be looking at? Are people getting any discounts on the TwinAir?

Thanks for any advice.

other than phoning around all the dealers and playing them off against each other you could consider using a vehicle sourcing broker

i wouldn't expect to get a signficant discouunt on new 500s as they are still selling very well

Thats what I thought. Sounds like the best I will get to mats etc thrown in or similar but no big discounts.

Guess these pre-reg/in stock cars cant make use of the i-drive deal.

Sounds like list + low APR and reasonable trade in is the best deal

Rob makes a good point here; if you can get a car with immediate availability then that could well make up for any price difference.

To be honest with you, the offer currently on the Fiat website for a TwinAir Pop or Lounge on the i-Deal really takes some beating. A £1000 deposit and then monthly payments of either £149 or £169 a month, with the flexibility at the end to either hand the car back, swap for another or pay the final instalment.

The TwinAir Lounge, according to the website anyway, would only set back £11,818 once the final payment is made.

If it was me I would be looking to get that deal and then see what else I could get on top - not sure if you can get much but worth a punt!(y)

well the best deal wont be from Thames Fiat in Slough

the current pcp deal is great, however, the car needs to be registered by the end of march, given i would need to factory order it was game over

when told what the deal was the deal was the list price, no dealers sweeteners and could seem to tell me waht the offers were for next quarter, real shame as loved the car as did the wife and would have ordered there and then

having checked out broadspeed they appear to be movement, all be it there is their commission, however, take that off and its a good price to aim at

i don't do list price
