I need to change the light in the ventilation controls, but I can´t figure out how to remove the panel with the controls.

I´we been through all 24 pages in the 500 tec. section, and are not able to download the sparepart catalog or workshop manual anywhere.

I was just out fiddling around in the car - and having read your query this morning started to look around the trim that holds all the ventilation controls. With there being no obvious screw heads etc, I just tugged gently at the trim [left and right] and it moved - so using just my fingertips and "gently" pulling it came away - it's fitted with bayonets so tends to tighten and then release suddenly.
I was a bit worried that I'd broken something - but no problems or areas to watch out for. The two bulbs are readily accessible and simple screws hold the the back bucket into the dash - just be careful to line up your control knobs when you put it back in. My climate control knob popped out but was a simple push fit from the front when the trim was back in place.

I've got a bulb gone - right hand side of the Vent' control panel.

The bulb is probably just loose.

Had this problem & dealer fixed it at my second service. Was a "dashboard off" job according to them.

Pull off the knobs first (use some tape to protect them and give you something extra to pull on), then the panel can be pulled off to reveal the bulbs.

Re: Ventilation light change / fix

The panel may be removed by gently moving it upwards.
Yhe lightbulb are not so easy to get out (W2x4,6d 12V 2,3W) I used a pair of tweezers. Everything are covered by silicon grease!
When installing the bulb I hold the socket with the tweezer under the grey part of the socket - to prevent it from going all way back (it did the first time).
