we have just bought a 500 by diesel , only had it 3 days and the management light came on , on the 1st day , took it back the next day and the tech told my wife it was because she started the car with out her seat belt on ,after i got up from laughing i said we see how it gose, today the light reappeared whilst she was driving (with her seat belt on ) so i got my solus and plugged it in and got a code P181d , i cant find a discription for this code has anyone any idea's what it could be , i have a feeling it could be to do with the stop/start system

P181D - Gear lever Position sensor

-Try carrying out the re-learn procedure for the neutral signal with your scan-tool.
-If you then get fault code P1305 - Neutral Signal Learn, you will need a new gear lever position sensor as it is not able to re-learn the position.
