I think that's just something the owner has put in there! Maybe a mini dehumidifier to stop damp? Or an air freshener. I don't think it's part of the car.

In fairness, Abarth will sell you a brand new Trofeo 500 Abarth for about the same money so it's not much of a deal really. Old race cars command big money only when they have a known race winning history or were driven by a noteworthy driver. A race car that's never been raced and sat gathering dust isn't really worth more than it's components parts and often quite a bit less than that because whoever buys it will need to get it checked out, updated, brought up to current spec etc.

I'd give him standard Abarth 500 money for it though

Is it/can it be road legal? I really like the look of these Corse 500's

Saying that you can get a lot of car for £35,000 in comparison. The bumpers dont even look to have much of a good colour match with the body, in the pictures at least.
