General 500 sub

I love my 500 but want to add a sub and I found this on eBay and wondered if anyone knew anything about these and if they are easy to fit. The Dude selling it said there should be a connector under the carpet under one of the front seats. Does anyone know if thats the case and will it work with a standard 500 stereo ?
