I would like to fit my speed detector onto the dash and hardwire the power in - has anyone does this and does anyone have any recommendations for what to use to fix the unit to the dash

I normally use Vent or Window mounts for devices I wish to use. Although one of my older cars had a fantastic dash mounted Phone holder/Charger.

I have not seen anything similar done to a 500. However, one thing to remember when you do is to ensure that it is not something that could be dangerous in the event of an accident.

I am sure others will mention this too, and that is there are alternatives to speed detectors .. i.e. sat nav etc - but its up to you on that front
