Well, I popped by the garage and saw the car today. To be honest while I am really happy I got the black ambience I wish I had plumbed for the black instead of the BNW.

Ah well too late now

Of course I will say that BNW is nicer than black but the fact that ~60% of 500's sell in BNW says something ;)

I wish I'd done some things differently with my car but overall I'm happy with it.

The problem is you have to choose only one. I'd like black, grey or yellow.
Better to get bird poo off quickly anyway whatever the colour. It eats it's way into the lacquer really quickly. I think you can always say I wish I'd got whatever colour.

yes it says BNW is the only colour that's 'free' :p
500 is a car that people spend a fair whack on for a small car and if people want options like different wheels, leather a colour they will almost always have the money to pay for it.

yea dont worry about it - i sometimes think i should have gone for the black for my abarth instead of bossa nova but i know if i had done that i would probably have then wanted the white!

white looks great, though is a pig to keep clean!

thanks for all the positive affirmations, I am really rueing the fact I don't have crossover black (and I swore I would never have black again after my last encounter with one, when every scratch showed up!)

I hope the guy with the black car and me don't pick up our cars together otherwise I am going to ask him to swap.

I am however, looking forward to my o-star alloys

Black is great... all my cars are black :)

However...

- Stone chips
- Scratches
- Bird Poo Etchings
- Brown dust settling all over it after 10 seconds from washing it
- Holograms after waxing it

But... when you get it right, and its clean... WOW :worship:

Thanks for all the comments all.

I have been musing over this all weekend - I remembered why I went for the white - as then there would be a theme to the white ring on the speedo, white checked seats and then flow onto the dash. Also it highlights the glass roof.

However, despite all this I still now wish I had got the black:bang:

I wouldn't worry :) Sure there's a lot of choice but IMHO there are very few bad colours for the 500 and neither white nor black are bad.
