i just brought some Abarth Alloys for my GP off Ebay for £400. Had four brand spanking new (well delivery miles) Bridgestones tyres on (he had it essessed when it got delivered to the dealer). Sold my old alloys for £250.

£150 for 4 brand new GPA alloys and bridgestone potenzas....that will do nicely!
Not made a profit though. Well impressed if you can though!

I mean a profit when you consider the price of new tyres, fitting and balancing :) £240 for tyres + about 30 for fitting so might not be too difficult to turn a profit or at least get close.

Just ordered a set, came to £596 with tax and postage etc. Still pretty cheap considering, I'm sure a dealer quoted me around 300 odd quid for a new replacement wheel through an Abarth dealer! Just need to flog the old ones, what with the slight kerbing and need for 4 tyres, do you think £200 is too much?

See above for details on the discount code you donkey(I don't mean that as an insult btw :p ) !!!!!! Could have saved £60!

I don't have pay pal anyway?! Never mind, it's only £60 I'm still saving a lot. How much did those winter tyres cost you just after the snow melted? :p (joke)

EDIT: quite tempted by one of those exhausts too (the illegal one!)
You'd soon get tired of that exhaust believe me! Had a fairly mild stainless rear section fitted to the wifes Subaru a couple of months ago and whilst it does give it a nice burble at idle and make it louder all round it is annoying whenever you're driving any distance and believe me this isn't a loud bean can exhaust like you see on Subaru's usually!

I know it's slightly off topic and you won't believe me but my car feels much more surefooted on its narrower winter rubber than it did on the Potenza's and tbh they were pretty darn fantastic in the "summer" we had :) If it wasn't going to take me a stupid amount of time to take tyres off and put them on I'd show you the difference myself!

Yea but the road legal version is not that noisy unless you're really nailing it, hence the valves. I know how annoying a loud exhaust can be, i drove 2 of my previous cars with no exhaust at all, straight out the manifold, for months and months! Couldn't even have a conversation in the car! The best bit was cruising around town, people looking around expecting to see a super car were more than disappointed to see a tiny Perodua Nippa 850cc! (and then they thought what a c0ck :()

I'm going to buy some as well I think. My tyres have still have a fair bit of tread on the front, but I fancy a change in alloys! Plus at that price, you can't knock it!
If you're not too concerned with huge amounts of grip and you'd like a change in alloys the 16" wheels with premium contacts would be good but the P Zero Nero's are better in terms of roadholding :)
