im going to go down and check out the 500 abarth in 2 weeks when ive got time off work.

nearest dealer is platts and research.

has anybody been to either of these? any recomendations?any good or bad reviews? any good sales man to keep an eye out for that youve delt with? any oppinions welcome.and also is it worth ringing them to ask if they have an abarth there too view and drive?or just head up?

Book your test drive, don't just turn up. And try and get the demo with the most miles on, makes all the difference. I'm not commenting on Platts garage however Sean Cosgrove in the Abarth department knows what he's talking about and can show you where there are some good local roads (y)

i would recommend research got my abarth there.

nice showroom, friendly staff and mechanics and they seem to be on the level (as much as a stealer can be, anyway)

they let you take the cars out unaccompanied if you want, and not too hard sell. i would just give them a call beforehand to make sure they have one free at the time you visit thats all.

I got my 500 from Research, and test drove the Abarth there too. I spoke to the same woman both times, she knows her stuff. All of the staff are very friendly and know their cars, but they never push for a sell either. I can't fault them. Even the servicing department is brilliant! (y)

nice one.who have people spoke to at research?whos the mystery woman there ?haha. also..had anybody got a good deal part of the package with there 500's? i presume they aint knocking much if anything but is there anything to look out for or haggle if i do go for it?
