Which is the better buy a Pop with air (and ivory interior - which I am not a great fan of) or the Lounge with body moulding.

The difference in price is £1100 for which I am getting alloys, split fold seat, sunroof (not sure how good or bad this is), and I think a leather steering wheel.

Any advice appreciated

regards

sam

Body moulding?

It's a glass roof as in it doesn't open. You also get chrome as well.

No I mean like the Linea is to the Grande Punto

Lounge doesn't come with the side rubbing strip.

I know. I think she/he is looking at stock/demo cars, as they said;

The pop doesn't come with air con, and if you did not like the ivory interior you'd choose the black interior surely

Ah, I assumed they were saying they would buy a Pop and add air con or Lounge and add side strips... but if it is stock cars that already come with those things added, I'd have the lounge for the other extras on top of pop spec.

I'd definitely go for the lounge. Better residuals for selling and better spec if your keeping long term so your less likely to start wishing you'd added things.
Blue & Me is fantastic IMO and alloys are just plain lovely. Heated mirrors have been very handy these last few weeks too :)

I agree.

I think it really depends on exactly what kit you're after to be honest.

The Lounge version certainly has a lot more standard equipment, but I'm really impressed with the amount of stuff in the Pop version (easily impressed me!). Also my wife and I decided we never wanted a glass roof either, so this ruled out the Lounge version.

If you do go for a Pop then I'd well recommend the air con option (which is quite hefty in price but worth it).

Both cars are pre-ordered so I have to take what's there.

I did not particularly like the glass sunroof but on the other hand the interior of the base pop is very plasticky and the steering wheel is horrid (although for a £1g I can live with it). I would add alloys on the car at some point anyway.

Residuals are something I have to think about in case I did not get on with the car or needed to sell.

The Pop comes with air con, which is an option I wanted anyway.

The Lounge is basic spec but I did not realise it included heated mirrrors.

Are there any pics anywhere of the interior of both cars?

Also am I correct that the inside of the lounge does not have all the chrome detailing?

thanks

sam

The plastic bits on both cars are exactly the same. The only differences are really the seat trim, a chrome ring around the gear lever gaiter and the steering wheel.
