I've got some LEDs in my astra, only problem you may have is that a lot of new cars have got bulb faliure systems. These can think that the LED is actually a popped bulb, and cut the wiring to it. Something like this though: Click Me! would work well, need to have something with LED's showing light to the sides, not straight out to the front.

These will give out much more light, and shouldn't cause problems with bulb faliure, but are more expensive.

Up to you. If I remember in the morning, i'll grab my spare LEDs and chuck 'em in a 500 for you, see if they cause a warning. They did on my bravo as sidelights.

Just tried them back in my good lady's astra, and it turns out one of 'em's buggered. Which is annoying. I'm going to buy another couple, so if you can hold fire, i'll get some photos for you. I'm good like that see?

Can we not all please grow up, just a little.

It is par for the course here, that when someone asks a simple question ... people start questioning they want to do it - instead of answering the question

Gets very timesome. It didn't know where to get the LED's so was happy not to reply, rather than a silly reply berating their choice of styling.

Which is why my visits here are less & less frequent. Still, their loss not mine:D

I have only just revisited this forum after a couple of months, and can see its not really improved.

Really is a shame ..maybe the mods can do something to actually keep the topic's relevant and delete the mindless argumentative exchanges ppl seem to have on here

It seems a fair quid pro quo to explain why you want to do something in exchange for information (even if from someone else) how to do it.

Demanding only a strict answer to a question sounds rather stultifying if you ask me, and hopefully most people only probe in good humour.

I just wondered what the point was :) People always question the wisdom of winter tyres even though there are good reasons for them. I'm a curious person and I like to know the benefits of doing certain things :)
