looks like i have managed to knacker the rear washer. Although I had enough antifreeze and the fronts worked ok the rear I guess froze up. Now its completely thawed I still have no fluid comming from it so i guess i have popped a connection somewhere.

Anyone had a similar or know where a connection is likely to pop? before I crawl around under the car looking for drips!

Happens in Panda's I think. Not sure where it will have popped though.

when you pop the boot, have a look along the top, between the car body and the top edge of the door, there should be a rubber "concertina" like pipe, on a sort of diagonal, that sometime pops a seal from either end too, inside should be the hose for the washer. mrs jai taken off for the morning, cant remember if you pull the washjet out to check the hose, or just push it along inside the tailgate to tighten it on....

you got any dampness in the headlining? esp near the back of the car?

my 500 has done the same thing twice now.It had to go for repair (warranty). If you open the bonnet and start rear wash pump, water comes out under front windscreen in the centre causing puddle under engine.Mechanic said it would be tricky to repair youself-he also insinuated it is a common fault!

I've joined the club now. Off to the dealer tomorrow I guess.... Can't complain about the car if the worst thing to happen is the washers fail but it's still annoying and possibly dangerous in the right/wrong circumstances.
