Hi as anyone remapped a mjet 500 yet what does it take too and what does they drive like after?
They look ok that that takes it to 100 bhp then thats like haveing a 1.4 but better mpg and cheaper tax LOL looks good to meI've been running a remapped Mjet for more than 12 months. Very noticeable difference - better performance, better response, better torque and no fall in mpg. I think the car is significantly improved and much more enjoyable. So far, no reliability issues whatsoever. There are various options out there - mine was from www.nuova500shop.com. I've got no regrets at all so far.

Will it increase your insurance premium and void parts of you warranty though?
How long did you own the car before you had it remapped? Was it long enough to determine if it has made any difference to the number of regeneration cycles the ECU performs? Have you had any problems with the DPF at all?
Cheers.

Insurance hike of about £20. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned. Not had any problems at all with my cat to test warranty issues. Plus not found anyone yet who has had warranty issues due to a remap, tho they may be out there somewhere.
Oh right. That's interesting, I was thinking the rise in insurance would be more than that. But then again, there is alot of variation across the market.
Edit: Is that twenty each month (extra £240), or just an extra twenty on top of yearly premium?
