I know someone who owns and drives both regularly, he says the Abarth is quicker and better to drive. Just his opinion of course, i wouldn't get in a Corsa VXR!HAving driven the Corsa VXR as mentioned above I can safely say the drive is WAY better than the Abarth 500. But it is still a Corsa, I'd probably still by the Abarth 500 over a Corsa VXR.
Just keep an eye out for the people who feel the need to criticise anything else or who feel the need to say that their car is as fast as something it's obviously not as quick as

Hmm Jan 2010, glad I got mine mine last year so I didn't have to pay that 2.5% extra VAT and Euro price hike...... sorry what were we all talking about?
I wasn't talking about you I was talking about the Colin McRae wannabe'sIf I can keep my old Mini with a stage 3 KAD under the bonnet, oh and an Aston V8, I could probably manage an Abarth

If that's all that matters to you, then fair enough, compare all the figures you want on paper. They often differ from the real life figures anyway, sometimes quicker sometimes slower. But a car to me is more than just a few digits on a piece of paper. A lot of people use Top Gears method of deciding how good a car is, if it's on the lap board, and it's even 0.01 seconds quicker than the car below it, then it's a better car!?Hmmm,
