wow guys chill out 
i only wanted to know why companys never really sell 14 inch alloys as you cant relly find them and on the advice of the rolling radius i am well aware of that cheers i used to have oz super T on my FTO but i dont think 17 inch would fit the fiat also i just paid 180 pound a corner for tyres for the merc so irelly have to cut costs well maybee cheers

Bear in mind fitting aftermarket alloys will probably invalidate your insurance unless they are declared. On the other hand Fiat optional alloys probably will not.
most companys dont charge for alloys after all it is not a performance upgrade will prob get 15 wish i just got them on the car when i bought it as i like the fancy ones whats the cheapest web site for alloys guys

Are these proposed wheels to put your summer tyres or winter tyres on?
I have just got all season 15s this year. My 1.3 was a bit heavy on the 14s last winter.

To add,
The aspect ratio is a percentage.
As an example, the 14s will have a wall height 65% of the width of the tyre.
Therefore you can see that the wider you go for a given wheel diameter the tyre will also grow in size if you keep the same aspect ratio.
To keep the same rolling radius but fit wider tyres to existing wheels, then the aspect ratio has to go down by about 5% for each 10mm of width increase.

If anyone is changing from 14" steelies to new alloys I'd be happy to buy a set of 14" steelies from them to put my winter tyres on.

Yeah, it's one of my 2 500s! That's my experimental hardcore track car, the other one is made up to look exactly like my real car.
It's very accurately recreated, even the clock tells the real time on the interior view.

What kind of price
Well I can order them from mytyres new and they will cost an additional £33 per wheel when ordering the winter tyres as well. So on that basis a set will be £132. I'd be happy to offer £70 for a second hand set. I only need the rims so if the tyres still have some miles in them you could sell those separately.
