The ARB setup on the 500 was applauded as a step in the 'right direction' for the 500 and was promoted on the 2010 models when the scrappage was being launched here. It's news to me that it isn't a proper one.
If you look at the rear suspension setup of the 500 'too much' you could be hankering for a multilink like the one in the Focus. I did post a youtube before of the Type R suspension comparison of an old verus new model and the ARB on the newer model was dismal in comparison. Granted a multilink would cost more money and would intrude on the valuable boot space.
