General Tyres??

Just looked on Quckfit & they have Firestone SZ70's for £53.90 each. Had Firestones on the Insight for most of it's life & they were fine, lets face it, a 1.2 Fiat 500 doesn't need mega performance rubber.

After more investigation, the quickfit price is then subjest to an extra £11.50 for valves, balance & old tyre disposal.

Looks like the Toyo PX4 from Blackcircles then for £60 each all in.

These are the original tyres that were fitted to my 500. As stated in my earlier reply they are still wearing well at 20,000 miles and have gripped well in the snow. They are also quiet on the motorway and only noisy on the really rough surfaces.

<Experience the future of tyre technology with the new Dunlop SP Sport 01. The asymmetrical tread pattern is divided into three tread segments. Longitudinal-Rail-System, Hydro-Paddles and Parallelogram-Block-Design delivering for sport, safety and silence. The performance of the new SP Sport 01 is exhilarating. The Longitudinal-Rail-System (two wide central ribs all the way round the tyre) ensures the efficient transmission of lateral forces. The comfort grooves and notches contribute to effective noise reduction. The result is excellent handling and a high degree of driving comfort at any speed.>
