Hi guys

in a change of sentiment to whats been on here lately, i was wondering how everyone is feeling about their 500s in general-

is it still love?- or are you niggled by things?..made a mistake in getting one?

i for one LOVE AND CHERISH mine more than i ever have done- and its 6 months since i got it-so i can only assume its going to get deeper!

so, anyone else still in love with theirs????
 
same here, after 9 months.

no faults, or even niggles, to report. not even needed to top up the oil. i thought my seicento was a reliable, low maintenance marvel and it looks like the 500 will continue that.

still loving it :)
 
I have good and bad days with the Abarth, but certainly more good than bad! Buzzing around my town at lunch time when all the collage chicks are out is always fun! Shame i'm not as good looking as my car though :(​

It's not exactly been trouble free and there are still a few minor outstanding faults which i can live with until March when it needs a service. I still love the way it turns so many heads, and the way it drives and looks etc. It's such a nice car to own that even with faults a plenty, i can learn to tolerate them and i still want to own it. Gave it a good wash and wax last week for the winter. Here is a pic i did fresh after polishing!​

EDIT: Forgot to say, i've done 10,200 miles approx so i suppose it's not been too bad reliability wise!​

10k miles?..wow- im on 7k since june....starting to obsess a little now as like the miles low!
 
I'm still desperately in love with mine and smile every time I look at her, as well as saying "hello darling how are you?" :D

At the moment I have two niggles but I'm more cheesed off at the service department than the car, possibly because I can't bring myself to be cross at the actual car.

My B&M microphone is dead and there's still no sign of a new one arriving despite being ordered three weeks ago plus factor in the two week wait I had to get booked in with the technician........

The heating fan is also making a weird noise when the climate control is on auto, so that needs looked at too.

But, yes, I'm loving it, by far my most favourite car I've ever had.
 
Still loving ours. It's one of the few cars I've owned that makes me smile after each drive. The other three were my old RS2000, the Citroen 2CV and the 911SC.

These four all met or exceeded the claims made by the manufacturer or gave pleasure in other ways over a number of years. A rare thing, to be cherished.:)

I love mine too and speak to her all the time:eek: I still look at her and can't believe she is mine and just love looking at the sweet 'face':)

Just to let you know I also have a noisy 'whistling/whirring' fan. Dealer agreed to replace with no fuss but when I took it in to be done they had ordered wrong part! In meantime the B&M microphone completely died but they say they can't replace that without logging the problem with Fiat. Apparantly this is because so many have had to be replaced? Am now waiting for both to be replaced and no news so far. Interesting it is exactly same two probs as you have.

Well, oddly enough, that makes me feel a wee bit better that it's not just me. Hope you manage to get yours fixed soon :)
 
My fan is really screaming when I turn the engine on these days! I'll have to get it sorted soon, I've had the B&M mic replaced already and the low mileage service was carried out well without the car being washed as per my request. No real complaints so far after 15 months and 14,000 miles. (y)
