I have just collected my new 500c. it has an ashtray in it but no lighter, just the power socket barrel (no cover on it). has the dealer nicked my lighter or do they all come with ashtrays???

BTW i didnt order the smoking kit.
 
Ashtray / coin pot / odd-screws-that-didn't-go-back pot in my case (y)

Be warned, the power socket is slightly different in that it has a plastic base. I wouldn't advise putting a lighter in it for that reason.

Are you sure you've got an ashtray and are not mistaking it for the little compartment in the dash?
 
I heard that the smoking kit was standard prior to oct 2009 on some models (the lounge that I ordered in Sept for example) but orders after end sept would be optional at £60 or thereabouts. When did you order?
 
thanks for the replies......i have got the flippy top plastic thing that sits in the drinks holder. is this the ashtray??????:confused:
