I've had my lovely Phoebe for just over 4 weeks now and within a week I noticed that the leather on the driver's seat was extremely wrinkled in one spot. Thinking it would stretch/adjust, I've left it until now but it's only getting worse, and it appears that the support in the seat is collapsing in one particular area, causing the wrinkling. It looks really bad, and ruins the whole look of the leather

I'm currently playing phone tag with my dealer to try and get them to look at it for me :bang:, but just thought I should ask around in the meantime if anyone has had similar problems? And if so, how did your dealer do on sorting it out?

Any advice much appreciated! :)

Having owned several cars with leather interior I've not had much problem with this, but I weigh between 12-13 stone and get in and out easily.

However, I have seen other peoples cars (where they weigh far more) and their leather interior on the drivers seat right thigh support gets crushed regularly. It all wrinkes up as its crushed under weight of owner getting in and out of the car.

Thats the only time I've seen this wrinking/crushed bolster support issue.

Dont know what the dealer can do if its the above, as it will keep happening..

Thanks Orange Sport for your really helpful thread... I might even print it off and bring it with me to the dealer when I go ;). Unfortunately that's not going to be until 19th December, as they're fully booked on Saturdays till then and I can't get out of work :bang:

It's not so much the wrinkling of the leather I'm worried about, it's the really deep imprint in the seat that appears to be causing it! And only where my left, er, buttock sits! FYI I'm 5'1", size 8, weighing 8st! The fact the seat was this bad already after only a week tells me something's wrong here.

Once I finally get some answers I'll post an update in case anyone else is having similar issues. Cheers folks! (y)

Update: dealer is replacing the leather seat pad as they agree it is a 'weak spot' and not normal wear and tear. They were really helpful and no messing about, getting a leather specialist in to do it (y)

All I have to do now is get them to sort a B&M mic that actually works...:bang:
