Bit of a naff question from me:confused: be but does every one on here buy the Fiat footmats..? They look good but at £54 certainly not cheap, i see some very similar ones for half the price on Ebay..and made to fit a 500..or so it says on the advert.

The branded ones are great, fair enough, I got them as a freebie, but, if and when they wear out, I won't hesitate to buy them again. Hope this helps?

original mats are the way to go because they are designed for that car only so they look like a proper part of the interior, and they fit properly too.
there are a set on ebay that look to be a bargain!

The non-original ones on eBay are made to fit the 500 as well. Spending money on originals is just a waste.

I have the original Fiat branded ones which do look good.(y) The only downside, as posted sometime ago, is they have velcro on the underside, to prevent them from slipping. Putting the mats in and out will therefore eventually cause the carpet to "fluff up".(n)

I got a set of standard mats from Halfords for £8. Fit the 500 perfectly and don't slip about.
Bargain!:)

I got the coloured edge ones with the 500 logo on them off ebay last Xmas, they fit really well and have worn well, at about £15 a set you can have a new one every year. I had red edging and logo to go in with my red stripes etc. But that's just me.

Yeah I think I've got the same ones. They're good quality, hard wearing and pretty cheap. Got some really heavy duty mats for the wifes car the other day for a grand total of £3.41!!!! It was at Costco and they're discontinued but still.... that's bloody cheap :D

Is Costco a "northern" thing as i've never seen one in my area? it's sounds great.....;)

If like me you need to buy 12 danish pastries or 24 assorted muffins at a time whilst also buying 25kg of coffee beans...then Costco is awesome..

That said it is like walking round a distribution centre which has thrown in some disgruntled Ex Safeway staff to serve you once you have managed to get their attention.

Their take on mince pies is truely awesome!

:yum:

:D

but it's nice that you don't always have staff in your way or in your face!!!! You just walk around and pick up all the stuff you want without any fuss :D

I'm northern and the cash n carry of choice round here seems to be JTF... they do a range of car stuff (my preferred summer fruits scented matt dash wipes supplier) and some really tacky car mats in inappropriate colours with big plastic/chrome panels stuck to them, that wouldn't look out of place in a 17 yr old's Citroen Saxo with a big home made riveted spoiler stuck on the back...
