Good morning!

I have 2 questions.

1. When I got my car I did not realise some greasy parts (I suppose that the service man was so nice to touch it this way).
Do you have any suggestion how to clean that? Maybe there are some other threads I shall go for the information.

2. Recently the seat under me is creaking like a nice, old, wooden rocking chair. Ok, I know that I have to lose some weight , but this seat should have not done this after 8 months....

i think the seats are not very strong, try adjusting the position to see if it stops the noise

I had exactly the same problem. I sprayed a fair amount of WD40 carefully under the seat and never heard it squeak again.

Mine has started to do squeek too. I will try the WD40 and see if that helps!!

and mine!.....a new common fault maybe?....will try the WD40...

Yes, based on the above replies it seems to be a common problem, I will also try to put that WD40 on the weekend....

Yes I too have annoying creaking drivers seat!

Me too after just under 6000 miles... it sounds like it is the metal framework inside the seat. I'm going to mention it to my dealer in the next few days, once it stops raining long enough to wash the car.

By the way I adjusted the seat - lowered completely - and the creaking stopped. But this is not completely ok bec what if i want to sit higher? So I will try the WD40 in the weekend...

My passenger seat was squeaking/creaking whenever someone sat on it. Mentioned it on the service and they stripped it down, found the fault and now all fixed.

Take it back.
