Waiting for a Red 500 1.2 pop..with "Red & Ivory cloth "seats...i wanted Red Leather but another £750 will leave me with hardly any money left in the bank..i dont get the car till january so i could save more money till then..Has anyone got the Red & Ivory cloth seats..any pictures..what do you think of them..?..im a bit worried about them getting dirty easily.

I've said this before on other threads but I think it's applicable here too and please don't take it personally as me saying you're poor or something.....

If you can't afford the extra £750 then perhaps you need to ask yourself whether you can afford the car as a whole.

Anyhoo the owner of a car with a red leather interior I have to say it's great, BUT if you're going for red then you might want to think again because it might be a bit of red overload. Personally on a red car I'd go for black leather so as to give you a nice contrast rather than just an eyeful of red. Or if you like the red leather you could go with white as a contrast.

TBH - I'd really worry about them getting dirty too. Are you sure that you can't stretch the cash flow a wee bit more and go for the leather?

Well yes but since when did anyone keep to a budget?

I toyed with the idea of Red/white seats in my pop and tbh i regret not going with that over the grey/white option.

I nvr concidered leather, having had it before I much prefered to have the underseat storage over leather. However i uinderstand the seat shape is also different and maybe more comfy ?

Stick to your budget ! Only the B&M is an unquestioning must have (in my view)

Leather is nice but the two-tones do look stunning - some at the dealer when I popped in over the weekend. The leather seats are however also sport-spec.

Mine is two tone - Black and Grey

I think the two-tone Black and Red looks top though.

Paul Kossoff seems to have managed just that!
Very fairplay to him, he stretched himself to a certain point, and sticks to it.
And in the end, leather or not, he will have the car he really wants!
