Yesterday saw a white Pop which had been lowered and had centrally mounted twin exhaust pipes, the wheels had the normal hudcaps on but the tyres seemed wider, and I thought it looked really cool. I'm a big fan of smaller wheels bigger tyres, and don't really get all this big wheel/ elastic band tyre thing, unless you are adding big brakes they make no sense from an engineering perspective, as bigger wheels mean more unsprung weight which is just poor in all sorts of ways. Do Fiat Do any 14 inch alloys (again they are lighter than steelies) that would acept a wider tyre, that fit the 500? as I may look into buying some next year if I've worn my existing rubber out by then, and I may have the cash to lower as well.
I don't thing the back view of the normal 500 is its best view, but lowered with the bulging tyres and central exhaust it began to look a bit like a Rat style orginal beetle
