Greeting fellow owners and future owners.

My 1.3 ByDiesel is due to arrive mid October and i've been seriously looking at getting the ECU remapped for £250 from Angel Tuning. The gains by having it done performance wise is impressive and for £250 notes seems like a good idea.

Has anyone used these guys? Also have any of you guys and gals had it done? Also if you have had it done a looooong time ago, have you got anything negative to say?

Also tempted to have it lowered by 30mm as well.............but 1 step at a time.......I don't even have the flippin' thing yet.

Any input would be great.
Thanks in advance

Talk to them about how they are achieving the gains. Increasing the boost pressure is tricky on this engine so many tuners just enrichen the mixture, which will cause problems in the long run.

What do you mean not again? I did try searching but didn't spot anything for diesel.

yes I know Angel Tuning and they can do what they claim - recommended(y)

other tuners spread mis-information that Angel Tuning cannot remap this engine, but that is because the other tuners cannot

Some of the most knowledgeable people regarding tuning on here don't have diesels.

You don't have to hit yourself on the head with a hammer to know it hurts.
Wise words there Grimwau (y) All completely irrelevant because of your choice of wheels though :p I only listen to people with 16" multispokes :D

RobW have you had yours done? Any long term problems? Or has it been plain sailing?

If you have nothing constructive to say then please don't post. The other topics I've gone through had similar crap in it.

I've never had anything like this done before, so if you have something to contribute then great, please add. If not then..............don't simples.

They say there is no accounting for taste, LOL.

I did actually order 16" multispokes but when I went to collect it it had the 421s fitted.

I actually quite liked them in real life although on the configurator I wasn't sure of them.

The dealer offered to change them but I decided to keep them and that as they say ..... is that.

Everything said before you got all 500 Emo was constructive, no-one has mentioned the Red Dot Angel debate.

People who HAVE had it done (irrespective of car model) can help you, but wont if you try to take some moral high ground stance TBH.

The point is all you are asking has been asked and answered before....

make your own mind up by talking with Angel Tuning and test driving their demonstrator, as you have found there is a lot of negativity about this subject and it will only cloud your judgement
