Any of you with a Cha cha blue 500 got a stripe/stripes or anything else. I like the Italia stripes, but they have green in them which is nice on BNW but wont go with cha cha.

Idea's ...with pics ;) pleeeease x

I'm getting chazure myself. I don't really like the stripes on any colour car but I'd imagine its especially difficult to get right on chazure.

If you had to I'd avoid red and just get black ones. Those ones you posted would be good if all black. Or black and grey would look ace. In fact grey graphics might do it, quite subtle.

But hey, its your car – get whatever you think looks good.

ooh i love those stripes. it's like paul smith for a car :D. i want that on ours, but i can't :( motability wouldn't let us.

i wouldn't think the green on the italian stripe would look bad. it's fun, but then that's just me.

are you having cha cha blue then? i saw one yesterday, they look quite cute and cheery.

I test-drove a cha cha blue demonstrator - other drivers most definately reacted to it more favourably than my white model, letting me pull out of junctions etc. I'm afraid it was just a bit too pretty for me though!

Excellent, I'm definitely looking forward to that. :D

Going back to the stripe issue – The chazure colour is so subtle it'd be destroyed by coloured stripes – (green red, whatever). Putting stripes on it just doesn't make any sense at all to me – you might as well get a white car, really.

Still – as I say, its your car…

Yes elsie :D ..want to personalise it but can't make up my mind what to have  ...shame they won't let you put something on yours (n)

PS ...what type of pup have you got :)

Yeah, I'm not convinced. I've heard some people say about orange stripes - thinking that the blue and orange would be similar to the old Gulf racing colours, but 99% of people would just think it looked a bit odd! Something subtle would suit though, just to highlight the lines of the car.
I originally had every intention of putting Italian stripes on my white 500 (cos they're the same as the Welsh flag colours!), but they seem a little "in your face" when you see them up close. I'm still contemplating a thinner, pinstripe version though.

Well – you're right Chris123, orange stripes are the only ones that make real sense (orange& blue are complementary colours see, so totally right).

Thats why I'm getting tan leather with my chazure – the slight orangyness of the tan will bring out the blue of the chazure and make it look more blue.

See I iz a graphic designer & I knows about dese tings. :)

Still not putting orange stripes on mine tho - but tis a good suggestion for Suzey's car.

How about a big orange "Mr Tickle" on the bonnet, with his super-long arms extending down the side of the car like stripes? I'm not sure how long it'd take to get a bit fed up with that though!

maybe you could have a go at designing something yourself. that's always fun :)

ps. our pup is a little westie. he's 3 and a clever little rascal. :D

:ROFLMAO:

I was originally thinking of a flower/flowers, but all the ones I've seen are not very subtle :D - would be great to have a design that incorporated a bluebell (as that will be her name) but its difficult to find a suitable graphic. I'd given up on the flower idea and so decided to look at the stripes ...maybe...but seems even that is'nt easy with cha cha.

Thanks for all your help - definately feel there is a gap in the market for 500 graphics, they all seem to be geared toward the 'sport' style which is great if it fits the look of the car you want, but I was hoping for a more retro style..and something a bit more (sorry guys :)) ...girlie (but still tasteful ;))

With you on this one Chris 123, I fancied BNW at first with the eytie side stripes, until I saw them in the flesh. Much too clumsy for my taste. I reckon your pinstripe idea should work well. Those little flag badges that are available for the front flanks are ok too.

How about having a stripe made up the same width as the Italian stripe and put it in the same position on the car but done in different colours that complement Cha Cha Azure?
Maybe silver, white and a darker blue instead of red, white and green?
