Wow, brilliant news )

Having read some posts about Abarth NOT doing a 500c as Abarth wouldn't race a convertible, I have to say I was disappointed. I love my sensible multijet 500 lounge but went I saw the 500c, not matter what anyone says about it being for girls, I still think it looks cool. Honest John in the Telegraph doesn't say it's for girls, and if it is, who cares it looks cool.

Anyway, my point is, I'd actually love a 500 Abarth but also love my car and the 500c, so when I read this I thought.....Mmmmm that could well be my next car ) best of all worlds :D

A bit more man-ly, sooooo cool and still as cute as ever. I hope they offer the cream interior because one thing I'm not keen on in the hardtop Abarth is the dark head lining.

Well, I'm sure loads of people will say I've no taste, it'll ruin the 500c's look, but I'll wait and see.......I just think it's so fantastic that Fiat are going to be giving mini such a run for it's money with the 500, 500c, Abarth 500 and now an Abarth 500c....it's just a shame Fiat didn't go for dedicated fiat 500 showrooms alongside normal showrooms.

I've uploaded these before, but i did them myself and i'm quite proud of them, so here they are again! An artist's impression of what the A500C may look like! I'd have to see and drive one first but initially, it sounds like a good idea (i think)

You do realise that Auto Express are a lying load of c**tbags who shouldn't be trusted at all don't you?

Case in point

The mythical Ferrari Dino which AE invented back about 3 years ago
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/204171/ferrari_420_dino.html

Lovely isn't it! What a scoop for Auto Express! Revealing that Ferrari have dug Enzo and his son (Dino) up and pissed and shat all over them by putting the Dino name on a Ferrari which Enzo never wanted because Dino was his son and he died etc etc.

But wait wtf? That Dino looks a bit like a Cayman? Surely Ferrari aren't so pisspoor as to just rehash a Porsche design!

Well actually no they're not..... Auto Express merely lazily photoshopped a Cayman to look what they think a Dino would look like if some 12 year old who's just discovered a Cayman and photoshop, designed it

Look at the shape below and the background? Look familiar?

You'll understand why I have zero faith in Auto Express with the fact that almost nothing in their story I linked to above is actually factual/true.

See also here the 500 Convertible which Auto Express unveiled with much fanfare almost 2 years ago which looks abso****inlutely nothing like the actual car which we got.

And finally here's a bag of salt with which to take your Auto Express stories with in the future.

If autoexpress told me the sky was blue I'd get a second opinion.

I used to subscribe to autoexpress but soon gave up on their bull ****e.

The finishing article was on new vs old. Had about 5 models of car with the old version and new version. And the Panda 4x4 cropped up and how inaccurate their technical data on the car was apauling! Made me jump in the car, down to the bank to cancel my direct debit!
