Just been playing about on the Fiat website and noticed that the door mirrors are plain black unless you opt for chrome. I'm sure that body coloured mirrors were standard yesterday!

Colour coded mirrors are still standard on lounge and sport, its just how the configurator shows it as black on pop, lounge and sport unless you add chrome, the only one that does not come with colour coded mirrors is the pop.

I thought it was just me who was seeing this, the other thing about the website is that the dashboard always seems to be grey.

I have been looking at getting a 500 (that configurator is addictive), and was hoping that we'd be getting some new engines soon.

What's happened to those 2 cylinder engines?

ever since the 500 has appeared on Fiat.co.uk there has been mistakes and errors.... not saying that if you have the interscope you loose passenger under seat stowage or not allowing the electric sun roof option on the sport model... for eg... its a shame... :(

I read a few days ago that they are now talking 2012, so who knows?

The Mito and GP are 'definitely?' getting the Multiar heads after September though, which means the rest of Fiat's cars can't be far behind - maybe. There will be more leaks before Frankfurt I'm sure.

Well the 2 cylinders which are called Small Gasoline Engines (SGE for short) are totally new engines so it's not just a case of rolling them out with the Multiair engines.

Edit: Italiaspeed says SGE for the new Panda for 2010 and they're usually fairly accurate so I'd say the 500 will get it in 2010 or 2011.
