im going to watch it on iplayer now,i only cathced the last 3 minutes of it as i got back from the renault series silverstone late.(which was really fun day out). i was actualy saying to my mates "i wonder if theyl show the mito on top gear). and they was saying they wouldnt as its not expensive enough hahaha. then i get home and ..bam the mito is on. 6th sence

Hi,
just joined the forum after having my 500 a month. I love it, and I love all the positive stuff people keep saying. There are some people who just don't understand though.

I really dont understand why you are all so happy they had a line of 500's on the the program? Have you all gone into work and started shouting about your workplace that cars the same as yours were on TG last night?

Fine your car was on TG but seriously does it actually have that much impact on your life what other people think of your car model?

Schumacher drives a Croma... and an Abarth 500. Both were talked about at work the following morning and no I didn't mention it.


If they had a load of GPs we woldn't berate you for mentioning it in the GP section.

yes it makes a lot of difference to me what others think of my car - i dress to look cool and attractive, likewise my car

Im only questioning why people are getting so excited about cars the same as theres being on a TV show? Could put a line of GP's on all they wanted i wouldnt make a thread on it though as it has no real effect on me if they do or dont put the same model car as mine on the show.

I think he has a point though. The amount of self congratulatory backslapping and Mini-hating that goes on here sometimes is a bit on the nose and tbh I tend to only hang around for the threads where something technical is mentioned, where Notss and Grimwau are having a good joke or where I can help someone by sharing a bit of knowledge.

I suppose people are talking about it because it is rare that Fiats get anything other than a slagging off on Top Gear. I remember the short one saying he would'nt keep chickens in a Stilo.
